Beauty behavior of Terong takengon Aceh Indonesia

Pantan Terong has been named as the object of a unique tourist destination in Central Aceh District. The entire Cold City, travelers said, is clearly visible from this hilltop.

Takengon's gray skies did not dampen my pace and a traveling companion in mid-October 2014. We entered the Sacred Path of Bebesan Sub-district from Simpang Empat Jalan Bireuen - Takengon. We were advised that the villagers first reached Empustelu Village, so asked how the way to Puncak Eggplant. On the information board on one corner of the village road is explained, it must travel 6 km to get there.

Slowly, the motor bulldoze the asphalt track. Hole - or we call it "Batman Trap" - gaping at some point of Empustelu Village which is adjacent to Bahgie Village. Almost every home page citizens overgrown with coffee sticks. Bersaf-saf, neatly lined up.

The road continues to climb as it passes through the Welcome gate at Bahgie Village. The motor roared across the plantation that was crawling down the mountainside. The higher the chill the more we climb the snaking trajectory.

1. "Muniru" in a hut

The smell of arabica coffee, cinnamon, and pine forest spread, until we stopped after meeting a T-junction. Turn right into the plantation, that is, we have to take a left if we want to peak Pantan terong.

Ecotourism area is very tempting. New at this point alone, treat the natural panorama has replaced the things that are feared to reach a destination. Plantations popping up in the valleys.

We also stopped near a hut used to muniru (warm body gayo-red), walking sipping clean and fresh air.

2. Gentle bumps of clouds are paraded

The sound of bushy mountains I think the sign of rain will fall. Almost too I equate the roar of the wind with the sound of a more distant drifting clouds. Yes, on top of this, I can stand on a smooth asphalt road and stretch out my hand to feel the clouds if you look at me from Empustelu.

After a while chatting with nature, we went straight to spot Pantan Terong. The transmitting pole loomed near three buildings: mushala, concrete houses and houses on stilts. The three buildings were visible from the entrance gate.

3. Attractions that had abandoned

Men covered with gloves welcomed. Hasbullah. If only we were here between July 2013 and July 2014, he said, this object is full of shrubs and we can not enjoy the tea and warm noodles that brewed his wife.

In that period, nobody took care of this location, except for teenage teenagers in this place that actually stain the location. The previous guards greeted after the quake rocked Bener Meriah and Central Aceh on July 2, 2013. Trauma.

A year abandoned, finally Village Head Bahgie entrust this place to Hasbullah. He reiterated this object for a week after the anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia in 2014. Together with his wife and son Munadi, he manages the attractions of Pantan Terong while gardening cabbage, carrots, and potatoes in the plantation not far from the fork.

4. Interact with the tour guard boy

His son, Munadi, who was by the age of 3 years, looked shy. She wore a small jacket. I persuaded him to photograph my friend with a digital camera. Her father supports.

Slowly he stood in the yard of the stage house. Upright. One side of his hand form a letter V. He then we ordered gonti-change of style. After the photo shoot, he can not wait to see the results.

"Sir, sir, here see Onot," Munadi called to his father, calling his greeting.

Onot is really as happy as his parents' village name, after an hour of playing with us in his charming courtyard.

5. Meneropong Gayo from a height of 1830 masl

The view does provide more value peak Pantan Terong, which according to Public Relations Central Aceh regency has a height of 1830 meters above sea level (mdpl). Hasbullah allowed when we borrowed the binoculars that he often used to monitor around. Binoculars I have had in my teens, ten years ago-we call binoculars soldiers because they are designed with a striped motif.

From the compass in the binoculars, our position is in the west and Lake Lut Tawar in the east. In the north it looks Bener Meriah along with Burni Telong mountain pride of the area and a small-looking Burni Gayo in the south. Of course, the whole city of Takengon can be traced with a look. For this reason, Central Aceh Government has made Pantan Terong as an Ecotourism Area since August 17, 2002, during the Regent of Mustafa M Tamy, as printed on the inscription at that location.

6. Sensation of two giant balconies

Attraction Pantang Terong provides two 'giant balconies' for tourists. First, the upper balconies are parallel to the three buildings, but the view is slightly obstructed by the lamppost. Secondly, the lower balcony features a small tribune that visitors can reach by descending through the left side.

The landscape that I desire is fulfilled here. On top of one of the balconies on the bottom balcony, I parked a cold hot tea. While I sat on the guardrail in the form of an empty iron log. Let the body blown by the wind. As if I were sitting on the balcony of a terraced house, staring at people passing by on the highway.

7. If Jazz Mountain is held here

While sipping tea, I imagine that the title of environmental tourism theme is very worthy to be held at the peak of Pantan Terong, such as Jazz Mountain commonly held on Mount Bromo. Along with watching local and international band collaboration, I served the depik and arabica coffee menus, then approached the fire for the muniru. Honey, it's just my dream in the afternoon.

I think, Pantan Terong is suitable for paragliding sports arena. And the light of the stars in the night will be syahdu if the day is sunny, something that nature lovers hunted very much.

"Please camp around here, as long as it does not blend in between men and women, and not make a fuss," said Hasbullah who never took off the sarong on his body.

Since we did not bring the tent, we chose to go home. Bring only memories of the Gayo Roof, the stories in the photo and even our memories.
